Gen Z Americans are among the thousands who have descended on Chicago for the Democratic National Convention, energised by Kamala Harris’s candidacy.
The Harris campaign has invited lots of social media influencers in the hope these “creators” can help them spread their message to groups where turnout is traditionally low.
The BBC asked a mix of Democratic supporters and activists why they’re backing Ms Harris and what immediate policies they want her to act on if she wins the White House.
